As a Finance & Controlling (FICO) Business Systems Analyst you will be part of a dynamic project team that is responsible for the implementation of SAP ECC 6.0.  This position will be instrumental in aiding the business in undertaking a planned, global-wide SAP adoption. This position requires expertise in the FI & CO modules, and providing guidance and insights to the business and project team members. This team member will provide application/functional support in the module area of FI Finance (new GL, AP, AR, FA, Treasury, and cash application) and CO (Profitability Analysis, Profit Center Accounting), as well as the integration between MM and SD. In addition to the project based initiatives this position will also be responsible for the day to day production support tasks.

• Works with Business and understands/assimilates Business requirements
• Excellent understanding of Business processes in the area of Finance & Controlling and corresponding SAP processes/best practices
• Ability to map business requirements into SAP by way of providing solution design and configuration in the area of SAP FI/CO
• Implementing and assisting in designing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology
• IMG configuration in Funds Management with Experience in: Daily Reconciliation; Fiscal Year End Closing Operations; Federal Ledger; Accounts Payable (AP); Accounts Receivable (AR); Budget Planning & Control; FY Close-out
• Experience in creating functional process flows, functional designs and working with the technical team to come up with the solutions
• Develop and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs
• Writes Application design document, Functional Specifications, Configuration document and Training documents
• Works with technical team for developing programs and unit testing
• Does Unit testing and Integration testing : Prepare Test cases, Perform/co-ordinate testing, Update test results, Resolve issues
• Assists Business team to perform User acceptance testing
• Follows global standards and methodologies and contributes in improving the processes
• Involved in Transport management activities
• Lead low level technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, etc., and detailed design specifications ensuring that architecture standards are followed
• Facilitating the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices
• Provide support and implement fixes and additional features
• Analyze data to identify problems or recommend preventive action, research / troubleshoot problems, and provide status proactively
• Implement additional SAP Financial modules, other add-ons, and system upgrades
• Track and fully document change to ensure that issue logs are clearly documented and articulated

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. An advanced degree is also preferred
• Strong knowledge of Business Financials specifically in Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable
• At least one prior R/3 implementation experience, exposure to ECC6.0 is a plus
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills
• Abstract thinking, good balance between academic and pragmatic approach
• Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies
• Working knowledge of interfacing SAP FICO to other SAP products and non-SAP systems
